Smoked Fish fry is a mouth watering and very tempting fried fish recipe. Made using fresh fish pieces coming out straight from fresh waters. This is amazing starter recipe and the same recipe can be followed using boneless fish as well.
The Smoked fish fry is amazing deep-fried non-vegetarian delight of a dish is easy to make and tasty to eat. First of all you have to cut the fish into pieces to make it fry well.
first you have to clean the fish thoroughly, at least twice ore thrice and set aside. Next you need to take a bowl fill with water and add 2 tablespoon vinegar into it and put the cleaned fish into the bowl for 5 -10 minutes. After 5 – 10 minutes take out the fish and keep the pieces of fish aside to dry and sprinkle salt and red chili powder on it.
Ingredients for 1 kg fish
1 teaspoon coriander powder.
1 tablespoon cumin seed powder.
1/6 teaspoon heeng powder.
1/2 teaspoon haldi powder.
1 teaspoon aniseed (sauf )powder.
1 teaspoon garam masala.
chili powder according to your taste.
salt according to your taste.
Thick Curd 3 tablespoon.
2 tablespoon green chili sauce.
1 tablespoon garlic and ginger paste.
Recipe to make at home
Next you need to take a wide mixing bowl and add the above ingredients to it and make it into a paste like consistency. Add little bit water as needed. Now, you need to add the cleaned fish to this mixture and mix well so that the fish is smeared with the paste and the tastes are absorbed by the meat.This need to be marinated for an hour so that spices are completely absorbed.
Now simply shallow fry the fish meat in a pan or kadhai and take it out on a paper or napkin for 5 minutes. Again you have to deep fry the fish meat in a pan or kadhai until it takes on a dark brown color.
Now take it out and put it in a container and in the center of pieces of fish you place a burned coal and add some ghee to it and put the lid over it and leave it for 5 minutes . After 5 minutes your smoked fish fry is ready to taste it .
